A Letter Regarding COVID-19 & Nick's Sports Shop
Dear Nick's Sports Shop customers,
Ontario has been tracking a significant surge in COVID-19 cases over the last two weeks, and Canadian health authorities have surmised that we are entering the second wave of the pandemic. Premier Ford announced Saturday, November 14th that Toronto will be joining the "Red Zone" of urban areas subject to stringent public health measures. As a result, Nick's Sport Shop will be suspending in-store browsing starting November 16th, for a period of at least 14 calendar days. We will remain open for Curbside Shopping and Pick-ups. Our web store will remain fully active, and we will be fulfilling online orders as usual.
What does this mean for our customers? Unfortunately, it means that the full extent of in-person customer service you have come to know and appreciate will be affected for a short while. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope you understand the unavoidable nature of the restrictions imposed by the government. We will be returning to normal operations as soon as the region ends the current healthcare restrictions.
Masks will be mandatory for curbside pick-up, curbside shopping, and special appointments. Online orders marked for In-Store Pickup will be delivered to our customers at the door upon presenting order confirmation and ID. Customers will be able to request and purchase items at the door. Firearms, wholesale, and non-profit orders will be fulfilled in-store based on supply availability on an appointment basis.
